Evenings

The dogs visit us during the day.
The cats crawl closer when dusk hails.
The husband sits outside, wine, plays sudoku.
I read.

This morning we waited for the baker to call (he's usually here at 8h05 and honks his horn), but this morning he didn't show up and the kids are getting hungry.
Son#2 was up early and has already thrown a tantrum or two.
Son#1 is having a bad day so far, stubbing his toes, scratching his back and struggling with his Indiana Jones-game.
Life is hard.

We want to visit Abbaye de Fontfroide today, perhaps drive to the coast again, but the husband and I have been struck with a sort of indecisive lethargy.
Some days you wish it was acceptable to crack open a bottle of wine at 8 a.m.
